Rear Disc Brake Adapter Kit - Honda Prelude / Accord / Civic / Quintet

These are custom laser cut rear disc brake adapters for select Honda models (listed below). They were CAD designed in cooperation with Richard Voaden (MR.X) and are an 100% bolt-on option to convert your existing drum setup to a disc setup. These adapters will allow you to utilize a stock 2nd generation 1984-1987 Prelude rear disc rotor (9.4" Dia) alongside a combination of rear Honda/Acura calipers from the 90's. Commonly installed rear calipers that will bolt on to this kit are sourced from a 1994-2001 Integra (except Type-R), 1992-2000 Civic (model depending) and/or the 1995-1997 Del Sol Si style.

Each kit is shipped USPS Priority standard and will include basic installation instructions alongside supplemental part diagrams. It will list out everything you will need to do the conversion. The adapter was designed to be a multi-fit with two hole patterns for different spindle bolt spacings. This setup adds roughly a 1cm to the rear wheel mounting position from stock.

*NOTE, kits do not include the rear emergency brake cable adapters. You will not have function of your rear emergency brake if you install my kit. To use the rear emergency brakes, you will need to make a custom bracket or utilize the 1982-1983 Civic / 1982 Prelude Rear factory OEM cable adapters for these years only and modify them. I will have these listed in my installation instructions showing you how to do show. I'm currently working on an alternative adapter. If you purchase one of my kits, I can supply you adapters free of charge once they are available.
